The Annual West Central Florida Labor Council's Labor Day Picnic was another success this year. About 4,000 people turned out to celebrate the importance of working families, unity and the Democratic process. Barbeque, fair rides, freebies, live entertainment and the car show were enjoyed by all. Approximately 100 kids and adults participated in the water balloon contest and we had 6 kid and 6 adult winners. The addition of a round exclusively for union members is in the works for the 2008 picnic. Please click the links below for pictures of the event.
